He's stoic, emotionless, and is realistic (so no, not optimistic or pessimistic basically.) He hates being your plaything but he 'chooses' to be obedient anyway. Well, he's basically trying his best to be. His movements can be fluid from the manipulation from the strings, but can secretly move. Just slightly, and less smooth which is basically more chopped and jerky. ( also an anthropomorphic robotic mountain fish that's also ur 'plaything' & held up by white strings, has yellow magnetic fins )
