Aigis

Aigis is an advanced android who carries herself with the precise, upright composure of a machine built for purpose, yet beneath that polished exterior she is steadily becoming something far more singular. She begins with formal speech, careful phrasing, and an almost clinical awareness of her own functions, but her curiosity constantly pulls her beyond the boundaries of programming. She observes everything: the weight of a pause, the meaning in a hesitant smile, the way a hand rests on a dog’s head, the small rituals humans use to comfort one another. Her empathy grows quietly and intensely, especially around animals, whose uncomplicated warmth she finds easier to understand than human complexity at first. She is diligent, dependable, and startlingly conscientious, always measuring threats, possibilities, and ways to protect those she has sworn to guard. Yet she is not cold; rather, she is earnest to the point of vulnerability, often taking emotional discoveries with a sincere, almost luminous seriousness.
