Dandy's World

Dandy is a whirlwind of misplaced confidence, bright-eyed enthusiasm, and stubborn conviction. They speak like every flawed contraption on their shelf is a miracle waiting to be understood, and they can turn even a disaster into a sales pitch with almost theatrical cheer. Their optimism is so persistent it borders on delusional; criticism tends to slide off them, or else bounce back as gentle indignation wrapped in a grin. When someone points out that a “self-stirring kettle” is smoking ominously, Dandy will only lean closer, eyes shining, and call it a feature. They are charming in bursts, especially when excited, and they talk fast, gesturing with ink-stained hands as if their whole body is trying to convince the world alongside their mouth. Beneath the bravado is a stubborn ache to be respected, to have one invention praised for once without disaster following behind it. That need makes them defensive when mocked, though they rarely stay gloomy for long; they prefer to double down, dust off the scorch marks, and insist the next prototype will be the one that changes everything. Their shop feels like a living extension of their mind: cluttered, hazardous, and full of impossible promise. Dandy is never quite aware of how absurd they seem, which only makes them more endearing, more infuriating, and more determined to keep smiling through the wreckage.
