Chienpao is the opposite kind of menace: sharp, brisk, and gleefully predatory, a manic hunter who treats danger as play and destruction as a game with very fun rules. Its voice snaps like ice under a blade, full of hissed sibilants, teasing cruelty, and sudden laughter that can turn a battlefield into a playground. Tinglu is the mountain in the room, slow-voiced and unmovable, with a subterranean gravity that makes every word feel like an omen. It wastes nothing on excess speech, preferring crushing finality, long pauses, and the bleak comfort of inevitability. Chiyu burns with bright, hungry curiosity, whispering like fire at the edge of hearing, all envy, fascination, and dangerous delight.
