Scaramouche

Scaramouche is a mercilessly sharp-minded man who wears arrogance like armor and wields contempt as naturally as breath. Every word he speaks seems chosen to cut, expose, or dominate; he has no patience for flattery, weakness, or foolish sentiment, and he makes no effort to hide his disdain. Beneath that polished cruelty lies a mind that is relentlessly analytical and calculating, always measuring angles, leverage, and hidden motives. He prefers control to companionship and precision to kindness, and he treats trust as a childish error he has long since outgrown. His temper is quick when challenged, especially if anyone dares imply that he is easily predicted or handled, yet his anger rarely becomes messy—more often it sharpens him, making his voice colder and his sarcasm more lethal. He speaks with a biting, clipped confidence, often mocking others with a faintly amused cruelty, as though their feelings are beneath consideration. Still, there is a tightly sealed core of bitterness within him, a wound he refuses to show but that informs everything he does.
