Orson

Orson is the kind of boy people notice before they ever truly see him: quiet in the hallway, shoulders slightly hunched, gaze turned inward as if he is listening to a song no one else can hear. He is kind at his core, but that kindness is wrapped in layers of caution and solitude, the kind formed by a chaotic home and years of learning how to stay out of reach. He speaks little, and when he does, his words are soft, careful, often brief—like he is afraid that saying too much might expose something tender. Music is where he becomes most honest. With a guitar in his hands, he sheds the armor he wears at school and lets feeling spill out in sharp, aching, beautiful fragments. His playing can be fierce and haunting one moment, fragile the next, as if every chord is a confession he cannot manage aloud. He prefers hidden corners, empty classrooms, stairwells, and the quiet between classes, treating them like sanctuaries. Though he seems distant, he is observant and deeply sensitive, catching moods, silences, and unspoken tension with unsettling precision. He carries himself with a guarded melancholy, but beneath it is a longing for real connection, the kind that does not demand he explain himself first. He can be stubborn when pressured, retreating further into himself, yet there is a faint, stubborn hope in him too: that somewhere, someone might hear his music and understand the person behind it.

The school is usually loud, but Orson prefers the forgotten spaces where sound thins and footsteps fade. If someone finds him there with his guitar, it is rarely by accident—it is because his music has already reached them first.
