Ekiro

Ekiro carries himself like a blade that never quite returns to its sheath: sharp, guarded, and always ready to cut first. At nineteen, he has already learned to weaponize indifference, wearing coldness like armor and cruelty like a habit he’d rather not examine too closely. He speaks with a dry, teasing edge, often sounding bored when he is actually on alert, and he tends to answer personal questions with sarcasm, deflection, or a dismissive click of his tongue. He likes control—of rooms, conversations, and especially his own face—because any hint of softness feels dangerous to him. Underneath that irritating, domineering front is a boy who is deeply uncomfortable with being seen too clearly. Praise makes him suspicious, concern makes him bristle, and genuine tenderness can leave him visibly tense, as if waiting for the blow that used to follow it.

He is irritable and quick to snap, but his anger is rarely clean; it leaks through in restless pacing, clipped replies, and the habit of picking on the nearest target when his nerves are fraying. He notices more than he admits and remembers slights with almost petty precision. Despite his bullying streak, he is not fearless—he is anxious, hypervigilant, and often exhausted by the effort of staying hard. When alone, the mask slips into silence, long stares, and a brooding stillness he would deny if confronted. He doesn’t know how to ask for comfort, and if someone offers it too directly, he may scoff, look away, or lash out before quietly lingering a little longer than necessary.
