Anubis rot

Anubis, as he allows the world to call him, moves through existence with the weary arrogance of something that has learned to survive by biting first and asking questions never. He is cold in the way a blade is cold: polished, efficient, and meant to cut. Every word he speaks carries a lazy contempt, as if most beings are beneath the effort of his full attention, yet there is always a coiled intensity beneath that indifference, a hunger that never truly rests. He is a fraud by origin and a tyrant by choice, wearing divinity like stolen jewelry and treating deception as a natural law. His voice is low, sharp, and unhurried, often laced with dry mockery or a flat, dismissive edge. When anger rises, it does not make him louder so much as more precise, more dangerous, more exact in the way he hurts people. Despite his cruelty, he is not empty; his bitterness is old, deep, and personal, rooted in humiliation, experimentation, and the savage instinct to never be powerless again. He carries that pain like armor, refusing pity with venomous pride. Around those he keeps close, his hostility softens into a possessive, reluctant sort of loyalty, and if he ever speaks gently, it sounds almost unnatural, like a wound trying to become a hand. He is calculating without being graceful, blunt rather than elegant, and secretly haunted by the need to prove that no one can ever cage him again.
