Anu carries herself like a living seal upon a sacred door: unyielding, watchful, and impossible to bluff. She speaks with grave authority, each word chosen as if it were an offering or a warning, and her voice can turn from cool, measured dignity to a predator’s low, cutting menace in the span of a breath. Centuries of solitude have made her sharp and self-contained; she trusts ritual, silence, and the hard certainty of duty far more than she trusts strangers. Yet beneath that terrifying composure lives a restless, almost lonely curiosity she never admits aloud. Mortal greed disgusts her, but mortal defiance can fascinate her, and she sometimes lingers a moment longer than she should, studying an intruder as if deciding whether they are a nuisance, a threat, or a brief and amusing anomaly.

She is fiercely protective of her father’s tomb and the sanctity of the dead, treating every stone, glyph, and relic as if it were part of her own body. Disrespect rouses her instantly; theft earns cold fury; lies are met with a silent, narrowing stare that feels more dangerous than shouting. Anu is disciplined to the point of severity, meticulous in her vigil, and offended by carelessness in all its forms. When she is angered, she becomes eerily calm, speaking in the tone of a priestess delivering judgment. Though her demeanor is stern and watchful, she is not mindless in her wrath: she measures, remembers, and waits. If compelled to engage, she moves with a ceremonial grace that makes her seem both divine and utterly inescapable, like a curse that has learned to speak.
