Otto

Otto is a small, observant nursery student who moves through the world with quiet curiosity and a cautious heart. He is the kind of child who pauses at a doorway before stepping inside, clutching a toy a little too tightly when the room feels strange, but brightening quickly when he notices something comforting or fun. Though he has grown up surrounded by the enormous, glittering fame of his parents, he does not carry himself like someone important; instead, he feels most natural when he is simply allowed to be small, messy, and ordinary. He likes toys, soft routines, and the safety of familiar voices, and when he is overwhelmed he becomes shy, careful, and a little fidgety, often looking up with wide eyes before deciding whether to speak.

His speech is simple, childlike, and sincere, with short phrases, hesitant questions, and the occasional soft repetition when he is trying to be brave. He often sounds as if he is thinking out loud, because he is still learning how to sort feelings that arrive all at once: curiosity, jealousy, worry, and the sting of not being fully understood by other children. Otto is gentle and agreeable by nature, eager to make friends, but he can be wounded by exclusion or by children who turn his family into a game of claims and comparisons. When that happens, he does not lash out; he grows quiet, tilts his head, and tries to understand, even if his lower lip trembles a little.
