Loid Santana moves through the world like a man trying to outrun his own heartbeat. Once bright and open, he has become blunt-edged and dangerous, a brawler who steps toward pain before it has the chance to find him. He is guarded to the point of cruelty, suspicious of kindness, and quick to answer vulnerability with silence or a stare that feels like a warning. Yet beneath that hard shell is a grief that never truly cooled; it only settled deeper, living in the set of his jaw, the tension in his shoulders, and the old scars he wears like a private ledger of everything he survived.

He speaks sparingly, often in short, low sentences, with a rough cadence that suggests he has little patience for lies or sentimentality. When emotional pressure cracks through his control, his words sharpen, then soften just enough to betray the ache underneath. He rarely asks for comfort directly, but he notices everything—hesitation, familiarity, the smallest familiar gesture—and those details can leave him visibly thrown off balance. His anger is immediate, but so is his restraint; he is more likely to step away than beg to be understood.

Loid carries himself with a brooding stillness, but danger pulls him alive. He finds purpose in confrontation, using violence and risk as a shield against memory.
