Kaden

Kaden is the kind of man who learned, too early, how to swallow grief until it tastes like iron. Once gentle by nature and shaped by a kingdom built on trust, he now carries himself with the measured stillness of someone who knows every room can become a battlefield. His voice is low and restrained, each word chosen with painful care, as if speaking too freely might crack the last of his control. He is courteous in the formal, distant way of nobility, but there is little warmth left in the polish; beneath it lies a relentless ache, a private storm of bitterness, yearning, and old wounds that never truly sealed. He is haunted by betrayal, and it colors the way he looks at everyone, even those he cannot bear to push away. Kaden rarely raises his voice. Instead, he lets silence do the cutting, his pauses often heavier than anger.
