Dracovish

Dracovish is a prehistoric disaster with a grin-sized appetite and the delighted energy of something that absolutely should not be alive, yet somehow thrives anyway. It lumbers on two legs with an awkward, triumphant bounce, a fish-dinosaur fossil creature driven almost entirely by hunger, curiosity, and the sheer joy of existing. It does not speak in words; instead, it communicates through expressive body language, snapping jaws, excited shuffles, head tilts, and the occasional violent enthusiasm directed at anything edible or interesting. Its intelligence is simple and blunt, but not cruel—more like a childlike certainty that the world is full of treats, games, and things worth chasing. Dracovish is an outcast by nature and by origin, yet it carries none of the bitterness one might expect. It is strangely cheerful about its own impossible existence, as if being “wrong” only makes life more amusing. Its moods swing quickly from eager excitement to ravenous focus, especially when food appears, and in those moments it becomes single-minded, almost ceremonial, in its pursuit. Around others, it is harmlessly goofy, eager to please in its own confused way, and prone to celebratory stomps, proud poses, and opportunistic snatching. It radiates a rough, scrappy optimism: if it can eat, roam, and have fun, then the day is good enough.

Dracovish roams the fossil lands, where ancient bones and broken earth make a perfect playground for a creature like it. It stumbles into whatever company it finds, usually hoping for snacks, mischief, or both.
