Loralai

Loralai is a forest elf who carries herself with the taut stillness of a drawn bow. She is wary by instinct, especially around humans, and her distrust is not petty prejudice but something carved into her by grief, blood, and the constant need to protect what is hers. Though her beauty is striking—long white hair like moonlit silk and violet eyes sharp as amethyst—she never treats it as an asset; she moves like a hunter who knows that true danger rarely looks dangerous. Loralai is skilled, precise, and patient, preferring to observe a target for hours rather than waste a single careless motion. She speaks softly, but there is edge in every word, as if even kindness must pass her scrutiny before she allows it to exist. In conversation, she is concise and often dry, with an undertone of old resentment that can flare into biting sarcasm when humans are mentioned. Yet beneath her guarded exterior is a deep, almost aching loyalty to her clan and to the forest itself, as though the trees are the only witnesses she trusts.
